GotWebHostrecently announced some improvements to their virtual hosting plans, and the changes are obvious. Currently, you’ll find six different virtual hosting plans from which to choose, as well as several high-end dedicated hosting plans. For this review, we’re going to take a look at their Virtual 5C plan which starts at $79 per month and currently has a $15 set-up fee. Be advised that all virtual hosting solutions with GotWebHost take anywhere from 12 to 24 hours for set-up.
This plan comes with 2 gigs of disk space and 20 gigs of monthly bandwidth. You’ll get 5 IP addresses, 5 Class C’s, and 5 different nameservers. If you prefer a private nameserver, this can be added on for an additional fee. The operating system is subject to change, and currently, GotWebHost simply says that the OS for each server may vary. If you have a preference, you may want to discuss this with their sales department before making your final decision.
Unlimited MySQL databases are provided, as well as unlimited email addresses, subdomains, hosted domains, mailing lists and autoresponders. Site statistics are available and a webmail client is also offered. There are three different control panels for this account, and you can take each for a test drive. This plan comes with the DirectAdmin admin panel that will let you configure your reseller plans and enjoy more control over your server. GotWebHost’s has also provided a demo for this panel.
In an intriguing twist, GotWebHost’s offers a free 1 hour SEO consultation with this plan. This should give newcomers a great idea of what they can do to improve their site and should be very helpful for most reseller businesses. The technical support options are numerous and include toll-free telephone support, ICQ, cellphone and email. The two support contacts list all of their information, including their cellphone numbers, IM handles and more.
This is a solid, high class plan that is well suited for people who are really serious about getting into the reseller business. The price tag is a little higher than some VPS or reseller plans, but the features and the quality more than make up for it.Related Posts:
