HostEasier says that it’s as easy as 1-2-3 to get started with their hosting plans, but do they perform? Let’s find out.

You’ll find several different hosting solutions at HostEasier, from simple shared hosting packages, all the way up to complex dedicated solutions. For this review, we’re going to take a look at their Virtual Private Server hosting plans to see how they stack up to the competition.

Each VPS plan comes with HostEasier’s Virtuzzo Power Panel for easy administration. Unfortunately, their demo was not working at the time this review was written, so we can’t go into more detail on the features. Their VPS packages are run on a 2.4 GHZ Duel Xeon Processor, packing 8 gigs of RAM and 6 320 Ultra Hot-Swap drives. This configuration should result in high performance for most sites.

The V-04 VPS Plan offers 30 gigs of data storage and 500 gigs of monthly bandwidth. For the price, this is a decent deal and should be more than enough to handle the traffic on mid-level sites, or reseller sites. You’ll get 1 gig of guaranteed RAM for your server, further improving performance levels. Three IP addresses are included as well as full root access and the ability to personalize your nameservers. For companies looking to start their own re-seller business, this is a very nice touch. Also offered for resellers is the ability to set-up new accounts on their own, without needing any assistance or approval from HostEasier.

A free installation of CPanel and WebHostManager is included with all accounts and for a limited time they are offering a free installation of Fantastico De Luxe. This may change however, so it’s a good idea to check back with HostEasier to see if this offer is still valid.

You can have unlimited email accounts, SQL databases and FTP accounts, further enhancing the overall value of the plan. 24/7 support is offered through email or their ticket system, but telephone support is not offered at this time.

For the money, this is a solid VPS package that should meet the needs of companies looking for more power on their server without having to make the switch to a dedicated server. Resellers should appreciate the ability to set-up accounts and brand custom nameservers as well.
