Ensim Launches VoIP Support Platform

Ensim, a hosted IP and application services company, announced today that they have integrated VoIP support for their service delivery platform, Ensim Unify.

William Stofega, a Senior Analyst for VoIP Services at IDC commented, ‘’The service provider business models of the past, driven by one dominant service, have fundamentally changed. Today, capturing and retaining customers is all about convergence and time to market with new services. Margins and profits are driven by delivering many services to a given customer and doing so requires a robust service delivery platform like Ensim Unify, built from the ground up to support multiple services.’’

Sandip Gupta, President and CEO of Ensim added, ‘’There is no question that VoIP is hot, but what makes it compelling is the ability for service providers to quickly bundle and combine VoIP with additional applications and services. Feedback from our Unify customers with our acquisition of TeleGea was clear, they wanted a common service delivery platform for all of their hosted IP and application services, and that is what we are announcing today and showcasing this week at VON.’’
