Australian’s now have a new web hosting company that will provide dedicated hosting packages and reseller solutions, thanks to the efforts of Rochen Hosting. According to the company’s release, there is a definite lack of choice in the Australian hosting market and they felt it was time to fill this void.

In related news for Australian web hosting, SmartyHost, a provider of hosting solutions, announced today that they are offering a special on .au domain names over Easter weekend. This special will allow new or existing SmartyHost customers to purchase an .au domain name for two years for just $33.
“Our successful Easter domain name bonanza has become a tradition over the past few years and we’ve always been surprised to see how many people are looking for a bargain on .com.au domain names over long weekends,” says Anoosh Manzoori, managing director of SmartyHost. “This year we’re dropping the price of a .com.au domain to a record low $33 for two years.”

SiteGround Offers More Security
SiteGround, a provider of shared hosting solutions, announced their new “Spring Security Initiative†today. This new program will provide their customers with more information on avoiding scams, frauds and other Internet security concerns.
Discounts on SSL certificates and other security systems will be in effect throughout the Initiative, which will come to a close at the end of May 2006.
“We have seen that many clients are scared from various frauds such as identity theft, hacks, spam, but are also unaware how to protect themselves,” says Lilyana Yakimova, the SiteGround marketing manager. “That is why we decided to launch this Spring Security Initiative and increase the awareness of the possible ways to protect themselves.”

ThinkPartner to Acquire IceRocket.com
ThinkPartner, an Internet marketing firm, announced today that they plan to acquire IceRocket.com, a popular Blog search utility. The deal is hinging on final due diligence, but both companies are excited about the news.
