SWSoft Adds Features to Plesk Expand 2.0

SWSoft, a provider of server automation applications, announced on Tuesday that they are adding features to their Plesk Expand 2.0 application. According to the company, the Plesk Expand 2.0 includes the ability to “centrally manage MySQL, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server database servers with the latest versions of the Plesk control panel for Linux, UNIX or Windows.”

“We have taken the feedback from hundreds of our customers and partners to deliver more robust management features to centrally and easily control databases, DNS, mail and domains on multiple Plesk servers,” says Kurt Daniel, VP of marketing and alliances for SWsoft. “Plesk Expand 2.0 represents an opportunity for service providers seeking to reduce their operating costs and increase their bottom lines by managing growing numbers of Plesk servers more effectively.”

“Plesk Expand 2.0 new features include new Centralized DB, new multi-server clients, broader OS support, updated centralized DNS, improvements to centralized mail, and centralized Windows mail servers.”

Voxdomains Supports Ruby on Rails

VoxDomains, a provider of domain name registration and hosting solutions, announced that they are now supporting Ruby on Rails, and that they have upgraded several of their hosting plans.

The new upgrades include improvements to their Web-Based Email 4.0, which will now allow drag and drop functionality, a new version of WebSite Tonight, their site builder, which will now allow customers to easily incorporate RSS feeds into their sites and enjoy more than 670 new design templates, 30 flash intros and thousands of premium images.

RackFirm, a provider of managed hosting solutions, announced that they have redesigned their website and improved their hosting plans. Special pricing has been announced on their shared and dedicated hosting solutions, and will be available for a limited time.
