HostGator Partners with Template Monster

HostGator, a provider of hosting solutions, announced that they have formed a new partnership with Template Monster. This partnership will enable customers of HostGator’s reseller programs to use five distinct templates with built in affiliate shops. Resellers will now be able to sell hosting plans from Host Gator as well as templates from Template Monster all in one location.

“We are glad to introduce our affiliate program to Hostgator resellers,” says Gary Nichols, Head of Marketing Department at Template Monster. “We have many successful affiliates among hosting companies and hope that Hostgator resellers will also like our products and our affiliate program.”

OutBlaze Rolls Out Ajax Webmail Client

OutBlaze, a provider of hosted email solutions announced that they have released a new AJAX webmail client for their customers.

“The future is clear,” says Yat Siu, founder and CEO of Outblaze. “Server-side software will increasingly replace client-side software. Outblaze has been building on-demand hosted services for many years, providing clients with the latest technology, ease of adoption and low entry costs.”

According to the company, the new webmail client features, “drag-and-drop capability, a preview panel, message preloading and a highly intuitive navigation.”

Entrust Offers Special on SSL Certificates

Entrust, a provider of SSL certificates, announced that they are now offering a special deal for all customers of GeoTrust, Verisign and other providers of certificates. This special is in response to the recent news of Verisign acquiring GeoTrust.

“By acquiring GeoTrust, VeriSign eliminated one of its major competitors and one of the few alternatives organizations have to VeriSign’s high-priced SSL certificates,” says Kevin Simzer, Entrust senior VP. “Entrust is a pioneer in delivering strong, secure SSL certificates at a much more affordable price without sacrificing a strong verification process or customer support. Now we are giving former GeoTrust customers a chance to switch to a lower price SSL provider.”

The promotion will last until June 30th and includes a two-year SSL certificate for the discounted price of $199. This is the normal price for a one-year certificate from Entrust.

Netcetera Goes Gold

Netcetera, a provider of shared hosting solutions announced that they have received Microsoft Certified Gold Status, winning an advanced competency in providing hosting software and services. According to the company, they worked closely with Microsoft to develop their line of hosting solutions, in particular working on supporting the Microsoft Server Platform. Their new managed hosting solutions include Window’s Server Systems, Sharepoint, Project Server, SQL Server and Small Business Server.
