WebProTech has four different shared hosting plans that start at $3.95 per month and go up to $12.95 per month. All have very reasonable prices, but let’s see how their Gold Plan stacks up to the competition. This plan is currently priced at $9.95 per month and no minimum contract is required. Discounts are offered if you purchase six months or more for this hosting plan in advance.

This plan offers 1 gig of disk space and 50 gigs of monthly data transfer, which is pretty much in line with other hosting plans in this price range. You can add-on up to 5 domains with this plan and an unlimited amount of subdomains are included. Unlimited email accounts and FTP accounts are provided, but there is no mention on whether or not any mailing lists are included. However, this isn’t terribly uncommon and there are several free PHP scripts that can be easily installed if you do this feature.

Unlimited MySQL databases are offered, as well as CPanel, Fantastico and RVSkin. A collection of RVSkin Site Templates are also included which is very nice to see. Zend Optimizer is supported, as well as ImageMagick, PHP, Perl, Mcrypt Libraries and GD Image libraries. This is a nice collection, and one that isn’t commonly found with other budget hosting companies. You’ll also have the ability to schedule your own cron jobs, which is another nice advanced feature.

The company offers a 99.1% uptime guarantee, which is a little strange, given that most companies appear to be stuck on the 99.9 percentage. Support is provided 24/7 through their online helpdesk and all of their shared plans feature a six hour tech support response time guarantee, which is yet another nice feature for this plan.

Overall, with unlimited email accounts, MySQL databases, and a support response time guarantee, this plan is hard to beat for the money. There is a little room for improvement, but WebProTech has done a great job in building some very nice shared hosting plans.
